Call to Worship

One        The Lord is King above all the Earth 
                His grace and longsuffering Love wash over us
 PEOPLE   Come let us experience God’s power as we wait on Him in  
                      worship

One      Let us now seek our God and His glory and mercy; 
              Forgiveness and blessings

 PEOPLE    Let us worship our Lord

Prayer of Confession
We confess we have tried to hide our sins from Your sight. Painfully, we are very aware that You know all about our latest caving into temptation. Your word calls us to repent and change our wats but we confess it isn’t that easy.
We like some of our sins. We enjoy the superiority, selfishness, and security we get from having control over our sins.
God of mercy and grace, come upon us and reap us for your harvest. May we not be saddened by what happens to this body. Do not fear when we are surrounded by those who deny Jesus’ death and resurrection. Instead, let us count it joy when we suffer for Christ’s sake for we ask this in His name, Amen.
